    1795 Anti-Slavery Abolition Token Mule RARE Variety
    We have a rare anti-slavery halfpenny mule here dated 1795. This one is Middlesex 289a with London Brighton edge. It is listed in catalog as RR (very rare). This one has nice color with decent surfaces. It is weakly struck in the centers as normally found for this die combination.
    One side shows shaking hands from the kneeling slave token reverse with the words "MAY SLAVERY & OPPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD." This copper piece measures about the size of a 50 cent piece.
