Antique Waltham Automobile Dash Clock - Model 1910 - 8 Days 7 Jewels

This is an antique automobile dash clock that was made approximately in 1914. It is the Waltham 8 Day Model 1910. I believe the size is 37S. On the movement there is a serial number 19711266 and it is marked "
Waltham Watch Co. 8 Days 7 Jewels
." The mounts that are on the side may not be original but I'm not positive. The front has been replaced with a thick acrylic bezel. The watch winds nicely and when you pull the lever you can adjust the date. When I move the clock back and forth it starts working and then shortly slows down and stops. I have no idea why this is. It may need cleaning or a little work. It measures approximately 2.75" in diameter and 5/8" thick. Quite a heavy automobile clock.
