Condition: She is in New Condition; Secure ties have been removed to inspect her. There are no papers in the box; I don’t know if this series comes with certificates. Hat is still attached, hair is gelled and in place, clothing is bright and clean. She has been in storage for 20 years and the box has some edge wear.
Your favorite Barbie collector or little one will love this vintage 1996 Barbie in Velvet and Faux Fur from the bygone Victorian days. She is gorgeous with a soft body, chestnut hair with ringlets at her temples and tiny pearl earrings with a matching ring. Her eyes are huge and a lovely amber brown, thin eyebrows, a small nose and beautiful pink lips. She wears a purple velvet wide brimmed hat with black peacock feathers perched at the top and a purple velvet long top with fitted bodice, puffed gathered sleeves that gradually make their way to white fur cuffs. She also has white fur around her neck.
The velvet top becomes an A line to below her hips and has snap closures at back. She wears a purple and gold ribbon at her breast.
She wears a lavender brocade wide skirt with black embroidery, a Barbie tag on inside skirt, and a snap back closure and tiny black heels. She comes with a round black plastic stand which fits between her legs if you would like to display her. Her body is soft, she can move head side to side, arms move at shoulders, her waist turns and legs move at hips. She has painted embossed white underwear. She comes in a purple flowered box with UPC and dates visible.
