Description

This is an all original Chelsea Corvette clock and holosteric barometer desk set.
What's rare about this desk set is its exceptional condition.
Please refer to photos and compare it to comparable Chelsea desk sets and what they've sold for.
Chelsea made this Corvette model from 1947 to 1975, and this is an earlier model.
The clock can be tilted on its vertical axis and rotates nearly 180 degrees.
This time piece is an eight day wind and is very accurate the first three days, but afterwards loses 15 seconds a day, which is an indication that it needs to be oiled.
The barometric needle moves, but because of its age, I do not guarantee its accuracy.
Dimensions:   overall = 9" wide, 5" high, 2-3/4" deep; the diameter of the clock and barometer is 3", 4-1/2" across the spokes.  Weighs 4 lbs. 7 oz.
