Extremely rare Chrysler vintage dashboard clock. 1930's.
A fully functional clock with a moving (every second) advertising dial reading: CHRYSLER. STANDARD. AUTO-UNION.
Easy to wind up and set and working like a....... clock!
In 1930 the Danish company Bohnstedt Petersen in Copenhagen made a deal with Chrysler and started a factory assembling American Chrysler automobiles as well as German DKW (Auto Union) Mercedec Benz and British Reading Standard motorcycles.
This very nice clock was mounted in Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth cars in the 1930's. Not many were sold and very few if any beside this one have survived til this day.
Diameter 13,7 cm (about 5½")
The clock is in a great and complete working condition!
I have not done anything with it in the 25 years it has been in my possession. It can be taken apart and cleaned but I leave it up to the buyer to decide.
