    Description

HO Brass Pullman Heavyweight Sleeper Observation Car, With Central Valley Trucks. Produced by Kumata of Japan in 1971 for Lambert Associates. #803
    XLNT.
This heavyweight open-platform observation car is modeled after Pullman sleepers which were assigned to many North American rail lines in the 1920's. Similar prototypes remained in use well into the Post-War period
When Lambert imported the model around 1971, no trucks were provided., however Central Valley 6-wheel trucks are included and have been installed with their 'Snap-on' bolster.
This model has been stored away for many years and appears in excellent overall condition with virtually no tarnish or other indications of previous use. The original box and packing material is provided.
This Japanese brass model from the 1970's is built well. It represents a useful prototype which remained in service from the 20's to the 1950's. All it takes to enhance your collection with this fine specimen is to submit your bid.
