    Description

    Magna Dual Output Coil - 5 ohms - Set of 2 - Honda CB350F/400F/500K CB550 CB750
    Set of two dual output high performance Manga coils. These will work with stock point ignitions, aftermarket electronic ignitions and factory electronic ignitions. The Honda SOHC fours came stock with coils that have non removable wires, so this coil works great as a modern replacement. This coil will mount to the stock brackets on many SOHC Honda fours, but it
    will not mount to the stock bracket on the CB350F/400F
    due to the 13mm O.D metal mounts. We also sell this coil as a set with spark plug wire and caps.

    NOTE:
    When choosing the right coil for your bike, never select a coil with a lower resistance than your ignition system, this will cause the coils to overheat and burn out. Before selecting a coil, check the coil primary resistance requirements as specified by the manufacturer of the ignition being used.
    Wires can be mounted on either terminal (no polarity + or - )
    NOTE:
    On the GL1000 the 2 output towers should point down and you may have to cut a small amount from the air filter intake for clearance. This is a minor modification and it's worth it for the high performance coils! If using this coil with a Dyna Ignition, the ballast resistor must be bypassed.
