    Howdy.
    This gold coin is not a one peso coin as some would want you to believe. More likely this coin was actually minted in 1949 as a coin offered at weddings or sold to tourists. They have also been referred to as a fantasy token. It was not likely minted in 1865 and Emperor Maximilian probably never saw one. It is likely 22k or 14k and weighs  less than a gram. Not certified.
